We are seeking a passionate Student Assistant to join the Project Excellence team in Global IT. In this role, you will support and continuously improve project management practices across Global IT, contributing directly to how projects are planned, governed, and delivered

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with IT project execution, governance, and operational excellence in a global organization. The Project Excellence team supports Global IT by establishing common project management frameworks, providing execution guidance, and strengthening project leadership across product and delivery teams.

You will report to the Project Excellence lead, Frederik Korshøj, and be based in Hellerup, Denmark.

We see our student assistants as an integrated part of the team. You will be trusted with responsibility and a broad mandate, with plenty of room to shape how tasks are approached and solved.

As a Student Assistant your key responsibilities will be:

• Support IT product teams and project managers with project management activities across the full project lifecycle

• Help build, maintain, and operate the governance and operating setup within the Project Excellence team

• Own and drive smaller initiatives related to the continuous improvement of Project Excellence offerings for Global IT teams

Your qualifications:

You are currently enrolled and pursuing an academic degree. Ideally you have just started your Master’s or soon finalizing you Bachelor. You have an interest in IT and project management.

Furthermore, you have

• A structured and pragmatic approach to tasks

• An eye for details and ability to meet deadlines

• The ability to take ownership and follow assignments through to completion

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders

Key competencies

You are proactive and comfortable working with structure and processes, but also able to navigate ambiguity and get things done when there is no clear playbook.

You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and can thrive in an informal, open environment where innovation and change are key. To succeed in this role, you are independent, service-minded, and a quick learner.

Hours: 15-20 hours per week. We want you to be able to balance your studies and work responsibilities and therefore offer flexibility during exam periods.
