Are you passionate about transforming finance operations through innovation, digital solutions, and collaboration? As the Lean Digital Core Source to Pay Business Partner US, you will join Novartis in a high-impact temporary position supporting the U.S. organization from Mexico City.
Acting as a trusted Procure-to-Pay expert and strategic business partner, you will collaborate with teams across Finance, Procurement, Digital, and external suppliers to enhance operational excellence, strengthen compliance, and improve the end-to-end Source-to-Pay experience.

Job Description

  • Serve as the primary Source-to-Pay business partner, providing expert guidance on compliant and efficient business processes.

  • Drive process optimization and system enhancement initiatives that improve user experience and operational performance.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders, service providers, and suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery and issue resolution.

  • Ensure adherence to financial controls, segregation of duties requirements, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance standards.

  • Lead and support cross-functional projects that advance the end-to-end Source-to-Pay strategy and digital transformation roadmap.

  • Analyze operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver recommendations that drive business value.



Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in Finance, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Shared Services, or related fields.

  • Strong experience with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Business Intelligence tools, or similar enterprise platforms.

  • Deep understanding of Source-to-Pay or Procure-to-Pay processes, compliance requirements, and control frameworks.

  • Proven experience leading projects, driving process improvements, and supporting organizational change initiatives.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within global matrix organizations and manage third-party supplier relationships.



Desirable Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent professional certification.

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other advanced business degree.
