Job Summary:
We are looking for a high-energy EPM to lead the engineering product development cycle and guide cross-functional engineering teams to meet design and schedule goals. You will be responsible for leading hardware and software engineering development from product concept to mass production, aligning with operations and manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Own and track engineering development schedules
- Work closely alongside engineering teams to coordinate the release of the designs for
- hardware subsystems
- Coordinate the UX/ID and SW development to intersect with the product schedule
- Provide status and reports on engineering development to the individual
- customers and partners
- Lead weekly and monthly cross-functional program management meetings
- Responsible for planning and execution of build events, including material planning and
- factory readiness
- Be the primary point of contact with manufacturing to establish a daily build plan
- Provide clear direction and guidance to meet the program and build objectives
- Travel internationally to support development builds (up to 10%)
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
- BS degree in EE/CE/ME degree required, MS preferred
- Proven track record of at least 5 years managing complex hardware product schedules
and engineering builds in medical technology and/or consumer electronics
- Strong technical background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Prior experience managing the development of custom engineering programs for
individual customers.
- Proactive and highly self-motivated; demonstrates critical thinking capabilities with strong attention to detail
- Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles and constant change; remains
flexible and calm when facing uncertainty
- Ability to work with all levels across the organization
- Executive presence and the ability to influence others
- Ability to travel internationally
- Understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes
- Bonus - Additional languages (Mandarin, Korean, etc.)
Compensation Disclosure Salary Range: 155,000-185,000
The final compensation offered for this position will depend on role, level, qualifications, experience, and work location. The offered compensation may also include equity and a bonus program.
