Copenhagen, Denmark | Part-time | Two positions open

About the job

Join Hemab, a clinical-stage biotech company, on an exciting journey to build the ultimate clotting company. We are dedicated to addressing the high unmet needs of patients suffering from neglected bleeding and thrombotic disorders. With offices in Boston, US, and Copenhagen, Denmark, Hemab is a truly international, collaborative, and forward-thinking organization where innovation and high-quality drug discovery go hand in hand.

You'll be joining IT & Digital — the team that enables the business and drives meaningful change in how Hemab works with digital. We have an ambitious agenda for how we work with AI and security: we're actively building Hemab's capabilities in AI, automation, and data, and we run a dedicated information security function, led by our CISO, protecting the sensitive clinical, patient, and operational data at the core of what we do. Your day-to-day as a student assistant will be support and operations — and if AI or information security is where your interest lies, you'll have real opportunities to get involved in that work as you grow into the role.

What You'll Do

In this hands-on role you'll be:

  • Support our colleagues with issues, e.g. ensuring keyboard, mouse and screens work as expected
  • Support hardware and software purchases
  • Assist in our onboarding process, ensuring our colleagues get a top-tier experience when joining Hemab
  • Manage software licenses, keeping track of renewals, usage, and compliance
  • Act as a reliable first point of contact for IT questions day to day
  • Contribute to IT projects based on your interests (e.g. Information Security, AI and/or data platforms

Who You Are

You're a curious, service-minded person who gets satisfaction from solving problems and making things work. You're currently studying IT, computer science, or a related field, and you're looking for a part-time role where you can apply what you're learning in a real-world setting — including a genuine interest in how AI, automation, data, and information security are changing how companies operate. You communicate clearly, follow through on what you commit to, and don't mind juggling a few things at once.

What You Bring

You are currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor's or master's program (IT, computer science, engineering, or similar). Besides that, you have:

  • A solid grasp of common IT environments — Windows, Microsoft 365, and standard end-user tools
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities
  • A structured, reliable approach to support and troubleshooting
  • Good communication skills in English (Danish is a plus)
  • An interest in how IT, data, automation, AI, and information security enable a growing life sciences organization

Experience with license management, procurement, ticketing systems, scripting, automation, or security tools is a plus, but not a requirement — we'll help you get up to speed.

Why Join Hemab

Hemab is a clinical-stage biotech with big ambitions and a genuinely collaborative culture. You won't be one of hundreds of IT interns — you'll be part of a small, tight-knit team where your contributions are visible and valued, sitting inside an IT & Digital organization that's actively driving AI, automation, data, and information security throughout the business, not just supporting it from the sidelines. That means direct exposure to how a CISO-led security function and our AI and data initiatives actually operate inside a regulated life sciences company. We offer flexible hours that fit in with your studies, a modern office environment in Copenhagen, and the chance to build practical IT skills alongside genuine exposure to AI, data, and security work most student jobs never get near.
