Summary:

Vaxcyte’s Summer Internship program offers students with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience that complements their college curriculum with relevant hands-on work that can shape their future career pathing and interests.

As a Project Management Intern for Vaxcyte, you will work on a project as outlined below:

• Support the New Team Member Onboarding process to ensure that new team members are setup to efficiently onboard into CMC Project Teams.
• Triage team member intake submissions and coordinating project alignment meetings.
• Ensure closeout of transition plans and identify opportunities for improvement in the current process.
• Assist with the development and delivery of New Team Member Onboarding training content.

The Intern will learn and practice:

• Onboarding and transitioning responsibilities of individual team members within the governance structure.
• Managing rollout and alignment of transitions across active project teams.
• Educating team members on governance culture, responsibilities, and expectations.
• Use of project management tools and systems to track and implement the activities listed above.

Program Details:

The Internship will begin in June and will be around 10 weeks (8 hours per day) in duration at our San Carlos, California location.

Requirements:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree (enrolled student with at least 1 year at university completed) with a focus on Business Administration, Biology, Chemistry, or related major.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and work quality.
• Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork.
• Enthusiastic-Shows curiosity and is eager to learn.
