RASyn, a new biotechnology company launched by RA Capital, is building a proprietary platform of innovative technologies transform the discovery and development of breakthrough therapeutic, diagnostic, and industrial products. About the Role:

RASyn is seeking an innovative, intellectually curious, and team-oriented Scientist / Senior Scientist in Molecular Biology, who is excited to develop innovative sequencing technologies for deep mining of immune receptor repertoires. You will support our cross-functional teams with your profound knowledge of molecular biology and single-cell technologies. In your role as an expert in molecular biology at RASyn, you will build and establish the high-throughput immune receptor mapping platform, as well as contribute to TCR screening and characterization. As a member of a rapidly growing and very engaged team, you will help us in our mission to improve patients’ lives and develop novel therapies to treat cancer and autoimmune diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use molecular biology, NGS and microfluidics to build and establish high-throughput single-cell immune receptor mapping platform. 
  • Design, plan and execute experiments to support research activities, project goals and platform development
  • Contribute to immune receptor screening and characterization
  • Analyze and report experimental results verbally and in writing 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, or a related field
  • Proven track record in and hands-on technology development and application of single-cell technologies 
  • Extensive experience with Next Generation Sequencing and technology development
  • Hands-on expertise with current molecular biology and cell culture procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams
