Role: SENIOR DIRECTOR, BUSINESS & COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS
Location: Remote US-Based
Essential Functions:
- The Sr. Director of Business & Commercial Operations will be instrumental in the development of CG Oncology’s Commercial Operations function.
- This role will report directly to the President & Chief Operating Officer (President & COO) and be responsible for building an exceptionally talented Business & Commercial Operations team focused on the achievement of our company goals that will enable CG Oncology to deliver our unique bladder cancer therapies to patients around the world.
- This role will collaborate with internal leaders, external partners, and the Business, Commercial, Finance, Marketing and Sales team to achieve the successful launch of our first lead candidate post BLA approval.
- As a key contributor to implementing CG Oncology’s short and long-term strategy, the incumbent will lead this Center of Excellence to ensure successful business, commercial and sales execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline.
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience in biotech/pharma, biotech consulting business venture, VC investment and/or biotech.
- Five (5) years in a business & commercial operations leadership role with seven (7) years in forecasting, market research, commercial analytics, competitive intelligence, finance, or field operation.
- Broad experience in commercial strategy and operation, ideally with multi-culture/international experience.
- Strong understanding of drug development, licensing, new product launch, and lifecycle management.
- Strong leadership, team building and organizational skills. Proven ability to coach and develop staff as well as technical ability to coordinate functional business activities.
- Highly skilled in influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific and commercial teams.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to translate business goals into specific objectives.
The U.S. target annual salary range for this remote, full-time, position is currently set at $245,000 - $255,000. The actual base salary offered for this role will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, market factors, experience and considering internal equity. In addition, to the base salary, CG Oncology offers a very attractive set of Total Rewards (including bonus and equity) and Well-Being Benefits provided as part of the overall compensation package for this role.
