Job Description

RA Capital Management is seeking an experienced professional to support its expanding investor relations operations and fundraising needs. The role will report directly to the Senior Manager of Investor Relations.
 
The Investor Relations Associate will:

  • Support the Investor Relations team with daily workflow of all investor relations operations, investor reporting, and fundraising activities at the Firm.
  • Organize investor information into centralized database and manage reporting from CRM
  • Coordinate and communicate across departments (including Investment, Compliance, Legal, and Finance) to develop Fund Reporting to investors.
  • Maintain internal due diligence questionnaires (“DDQs”) and complete all external DDQs and RFPs. This will require frequent interaction with multiple team members across the Firm, including members of the Finance, Legal/Compliance, Trading, and Investment Teams.
  • Work with our internal Graphics Team to ensure timely and accurate incorporation of all data in monthly tear sheets, quarterly letters, and presentation decks.
  • Collaborate closely with the Compliance Team to ensure that footnotes and disclosures are accurately and appropriately reflected in all marketing materials.
  • Participate in Investor meetings with members of the investment team.

  • Highly proficient with Office suite of products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Extensive experience with CRMs, DealCloud experience preferred.

Background:

  • BA required, advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within hedge fund, private equity, or another alternative asset class
