We are a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company, developing T cell receptor (TCR) therapies for solid tumor cancers. Our dynamic team has set an ambitious goal to revolutionize the TCR landscape. Following our successful Series B financing, we are well positioned to reach those goals. 

 

We have the benefit of being transatlantic, with locations in San Francisco and Berlin, and are looking to expand in all locations. In Berlin, we have a strong team of scientists and technicians who have demonstrated preclinical proof-of-concept with multiple TCRs, have validated the platform for over 90 undisclosed cancer targets, and have several drug candidates currently in preclinical development. We are on track to enter the clinic with our first program.

PRECLINICAL TECHNICIAN

 

The Technician is a member of the R&D Department and reports to the Head of the Preclinical Department. They participates in the planning, execution and analysis of scientific experiments related to the generation of data to support clinical development of next generation T cell therapies for the treatment of cancer. The Technician works closely with the Scientists to fulfil the Department objectives. 

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Perform cell culture and immunological assays with cell lines and primary lymphocytes 
  • Independently perform experiments timely and with high accuracy according to T-knife’s quality standards
  • Maintain high standards in lab ethics and strictly follow safety procedures
  • Communicate clearly with the team to discuss findings and flag problems
  • Support scientists with preparation of protocols, planning and analysis of experiments
  • Actively create/adjust SOPs to fix lab processes and monitor whether protocols and experiments are performed according to SOPs
  • Actively participate in maintenance of lab equipment and lab organization

 

YOUR PROFILE:  

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Professional training as technical assistant (BTA/MTA) or similar
  • Solid practical experience in standard cellular and immunology techniques such as cell culture, flow cytometry and ELISA
  • Relevant experience within Biotech/Pharma industry is a plus 
  • Good knowledge of common computer software packages 
  • Fluent communication in English, German is a plus
