Responsibilities

The candidate will play a critical role within the lead discovery group at TRIANA Biomedicines, and be responsible for advancing critical assays within TRIANA’s glue discovery platform. Primary duties will include the execution, analysis and reporting of cell based assays with a particular focus on degradation, protein:protein: and protein:small molecule interactions. This will involve a diverse array of assay technologies and scales including plate based fluorescence and luminescence assays as well as occasional imaging and other techniques. The candidate will work as part of a highly matrixed team of scientists including biochemistry and disease biology expertise.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience in mammalian cell culture and in running cell-based assays for small molecule drug discovery in an industrial setting
  • Good understanding of basic in vitro pharmacology principles, experimental design, and rigorous data analysis is required
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to learn new techniques
  • Highly effective communicator
  • Experience with cell assay development and or targeted protein degradation is an advantage

Education/Experience

Bachelors/Masters Degree in a relevant discipline (Biology, Biochemistry, etc.) and 2-3+ years of relevant post-degree industry experience (Biotech, Pharma, CRO, etc.).
