Position overview:
Ventus Therapeutics has a full-time opportunity this upcoming spring for a highly motivated and detail-oriented coop/intern, who is interested in gaining hands-on HR experience in a fast-paced start-up environment. This opportunity will provide exposure to various HR functions and projects including: learning and development, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and team-building initiatives. 50% of this role will be dedicated to supporting HR operational business responsibilities, while 50% will be project-focused work. Sample activities for this coop/intern include: supporting talent acquisition operations and strategic initiatives, building-out our new Learning Management System (LMS), assisting with the creation of management training programs and managerial resources, and helping plan quarterly all-company events. This opportunity is open to university students (undergraduate or graduate) seeking a full-time internship experience for the spring semester (January - June 2025).
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
- Ability to commute to our Waltham, MA site.
