The Opportunity:
Verona Pharma is currently recruiting a Sr Manager, Field Reimbursement - Central to join our team, reporting to the Director, Field Reimbursement. The Sr Manager, Field Reimbursement is a key customer-facing (field-based) role within the Verona Pharma’s Market Access Team. In this role, you will provide access expertise and information about the Verona Pharma’s products and coverage processes. You will also act as an educational resource for healthcare provider offices and translate strategy into action by creating a seamless provider experience.
To be successful in this role, you will have in-depth knowledge of patient enrollment processes as well as play a significant role in strategy development and execution in preparation or response to payor marketplace access changes and updates.

Responsibilities:
- Provide field-based reimbursement education to key accounts.
- Communicate technical knowledge of patient enrollment process, prior authorizations, appeals, Verona sponsored support programs and HUB operations to healthcare provider offices.
- Serve as the market access training lead within your respective territory alignments. This may include general market access training, payer policy updates, on-going enrollment/intake and Verona Pharma’s patient services programs.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional meetings with sales, market access, and marketing to build alignment and action.
- Additional responsibilities may include account management for regional health plans, state Medicaid agencies, and Managed Medicaid plans within your respective territory alignments.
- Travel expectation is 50-60% depending on where you will reside.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
- Prior relevant experience as a Field Reimbursement Manager within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the complex regulatory environment including a deep understanding of PHI/HIPPA and adherence to all compliance polices.
- Excellent working knowledge of evolving reimbursement landscape and the practice management environment.
- Understanding of the patient journey from enrollment to dispense.
- Experience and in-depth knowledge of Patient Access Programs and managing patient journey via HUB and Specialty Pharmacy distribution.
- Demonstrated excellence in account management, relationship development, and account penetration and documenting in CRM as necessary.
- Launch experience preferred.

Further, a pre-hire drug test with satisfactory results is required prior to joining Verona.
The base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $190,000 per year. The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position and may differ by hiring location. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
